| RED LION 5VVVV4 BICTON | |
| A Clasic Final. The Bicton went into a 4-1 lead with some terrific darts with checkouts of 115 from Alex Booth and 108 from Paul Ashworth, Barry Jones from the Red Lion hit 104 checkout but it all looked invane as the Bicton Steam Rollered the Red Lion in the first 5 games, it looked as if it was only a matter of time before the Bicton would claim victory, but victories for the Red Lion from Landlord Derek Brookes and Man of the Match Jo Rowson put the match back in the balance, a checkout of 130 from Merv. Morgan helped him to victory making the game all square at 4-4. Then Dave "Mr. Cool" Humphries hit the winning double to win the Challenge Cup and complete a famous comeback. The Match was played in a great spirit and both teams should be applauded for the way they conducted themselves during the final. | |

I would like to say thank you to Brian Kempton for being our Master of Ceremonies for the night and all the markers for the darts and dominoes.
I hope everyone who attended enjoyed the evening and lets hope next year will be as good.
